Peasants handed in a list of their complaints to Mikhail Kalinin( bolshevik revolutionary) .Peasants addressed their problems to Mikhail Kalinin because he has an active role in organizing protests and strikes, he was several times arrested and exiled which made him stronger, he also gained more respect in the eyes of his peers.
